Role Description The Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic is a full-time, on-site role based in Phoenix, AZ, responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and inspection of aircraft to ensure safety and regulatory compliance. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting airframe and powerplant issues, conducting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and documenting all work performed in accordance with company procedures and FAA regulations. The role involves collaborating with maintenance leads and other technicians, reviewing technical manuals and service bulletins, and ensuring that aircraft systems are airworthy before return to service. The mechanic will also maintain a clean and organized work area, use appropriate tools and test equipment safely, and participate in continuous improvement and training activities.\n
Qualifications

• Strong experience in aircraft maintenance and aircraft systems, with the ability to assess overall airworthiness.

• Hands-on expertise working with powerplant components, including troubleshooting and repair of engines and related systems.
\n
• Thorough understanding of aircraft structures and general aircraft operations to ensure compliance with maintenance standards.
\n
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification or equivalent qualification preferred.
\n
• Knowledge of FAA regulations, OEM manuals, and standard aviation maintenance practices.
\n
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, maintenance manuals, and service bulletins accurately.
\n
• Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely in an on-site hangar environment.
\n
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse maintenance team.
\n
• Previous experience with helicopter or rotorcraft maintenance is beneficial.
