Registered Nurse (RN) | PRN

Available Shifts

• 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
• 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
• 11:00 PM–7:00 AM

Position Summary

St. Augustine Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses to join our nursing team on a PRN basis.

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting while supporting each resident’s physical, emotional, and social well-being. This position also works closely with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to promote positive resident outcomes.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, resident care plans, and facility policies.
• Assess residents and monitor changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Notify physicians, families, and appropriate team members of changes in resident condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants and other direct care staff.
• Follow infection-control procedures and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and resident-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing experience is preferred.
• Strong assessment, clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
