Business Development Partner — Skilled Trades San Diego

Independent Contractor | Success-Based | Uncapped Earnings

Build Em is expanding a selective network of experienced industry professionals with established relationships with companies that employ skilled trades and technical talent.

\n

\n

We are specifically looking for well-connected professionals who can independently develop Employer relationships in San Diego and Orange Counties:

\n

\n

Primary Markets: San Diego County and Orange County.

\n

\n

Our Employer focus includes companies hiring in:

\n
• Construction & Specialty Trades
\n
• Electrical
\n
• HVAC / R
\n
• Welding & Fabrication
\n
• Industrial & Manufacturing
\n
• Facilities & Field Services
\n
• Related skilled-trades and technical industries

This Is Not an Entry-Level Sales Position. We are looking for people who already know the industries, companies, and decision-makers.

\n

\n

You may have spent your career in business development, construction, skilled-trades operations, fleet operations, equipment or technology sales, staffing, workforce development, manufacturing, logistics, or an adjacent industry.

\n

\n

Build Em does not provide prospect lists. The right person brings established industry relationships and can independently develop additional ones.

\n

\n

What You Will Do

\n

Independently identify and develop relationships with Employers that hire skilled-trades and technical professionals.

\n

\n

Introduce qualified companies to Build Em and help decision-makers understand how the platform can support their workforce needs.

\n

\n

Use your existing professional network, industry knowledge, reputation, referrals, and independent business-development methods to build employer relationships and create successful hiring opportunities.

\n

\n

Your role is to develop the relationship. Build Em provides the platform and operational support.

\n

\n

How You Are Compensated

\n

This is an independent contractor opportunity with no salary, draw, guaranteed hours, or guaranteed compensation.

\n

\n

Compensation is success-based and tied to successful outcomes generated through the Employer relationships you develop. Earnings are uncapped.

\n

\n

Compensation structures may reflect the scope and value of the relationships, opportunities, and successful business you create.

\n

\n

Successful partners may also have opportunities for increased compensation, expanded responsibilities, and other strategic opportunities as Build Em grows.

\n

\n

Who We Want

\n

We are looking for established professionals—not people looking to learn business development.

\n

\n

You should already have meaningful relationships with companies employing skilled-trades or technical professionals and be able to independently create new relationships without Build Em providing prospect lists.

\n

\n

The strongest candidates should be able to identify relevant business owners, executives, operations leaders, HR/talent leaders, workforce leaders, or other hiring decision-makers they could begin contacting from their existing professional network.

\n

\n

Prior military service or retired military experience is highly desired, particularly for individuals who have transitioned into leadership, operations, construction, logistics, fleet maintenance, manufacturing, workforce development, or business development roles.

\n

\n

Highly qualified civilians with deep industry relationships and a demonstrated record of business development are equally encouraged to apply.

\n

\n

This opportunity is best suited to an entrepreneurial, self-directed professional who values independence and wants to participate financially in the success of the business they create.
